At N2 Talent we are committed to protecting your privacy and the overall integrity of the internet. It’s our legal and ethical responsibility to keeping your data safe, secure and completely accessible to you.
To better protect your privacy, this notice is provided to explain our information practices, in order to comply with the obligations made to us at N2 Talent under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.
This statement demonstrates the choices you can make about the way your personally identifiable information is collected and used when visiting N2 Talent. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of websites to which N2 Talent may link.
Jobseekers - What personal data do we collect?
Apply online
When you apply online for a job through N2 Talent, we collect and store the following information, and email it to the recruiter specified on the job posting. We store applications for 12 months:
- your name
- your email address
- your work eligibility
- your CV document
- your IP address (the number identifying your electronic device when accessing the internet)
Jobseeker account
When you register a jobseeker account on N2 Talent, we collect the following information on sign up. We store your data for as long as you wish to keep your account open or until your delete your account. We send you occasional reminders of the services you have with us with the option to delete at any time.
- your name
- your email address
- your IP address (the number identifying your electronic device when accessing the internet)
Job alerts
When you register for job alerts, we collect the following information.
- your email address
- your IP address (the number identifying your electronic device when accessing the internet)
Signing up for job alerts from a search requires you to click on a link to activate your job alerts before we can email you alerts. If you do not activate, we will delete your request within 5 days. Once activated, we will continue to send you job alerts until you delete them. This can be done by a one-click unsubscribe in the email or deleted within your online control panel.
CV profile
Your CV is a very personal and confidential document, and we provide you with full control over whether or not you wish to have your details visible to recruiters.
You are given the option to store your CV in our database, but not allow it order be viewed by recruiters. By requesting anonymity in your CV Profile, your CV, name and contact details will be withheld. You can still be contacted by recruiters via the website's confidential online email system. Please note if you requested anonymity and have saved a profile, whilst a recruiter won’t be able to view your name, contact information or CV, you may still be identifiable from the other data entered in your profile. If you make an online job application or contact the recruiter, this will reveal your name and contact details.
N2 Talent provides a secure password protected subscription service to its clients. We have no control over who can access profiles on our database, and cannot be held responsible if your current employer is a client of N2 Talent. If you are concerned about this possibility, we recommend you select the option in your CV Profile to anonymous.
You may remove your CV from the database at any time. However if a third party has already accessed the database and saved your CV for their own files, we cannot be held responsible for the retention, use or privacy of your CV in these circumstances.
Your jobseeker account can easily be edited, exported to excel or deleted any time within your online control panel. Once deleted we never keep a copy of your data.
Recruiters – What personal data do we collect?
When a recruiter creates a recruiter account, we collect the following personal information:
- your name
- your work email address
- your IP address (the number identifying your electronic device when accessing the internet)
- your company details
We store your data for up to 2 years unless you have deleted your account, signed in to your account and/or have any jobs, profile or articles live on our site. We will email you a deletion notice 28 and 7 days before the end of the period - if we do not hear from you our system will automatically delete your account.
Your recruiter account can easily be edited, exported to excel or deleted any time within your online control panel. Once deleted we never keep a copy of your contact and company data. We send you occasional reminders of the services you have with us with the option to delete at any time.

If we don't hear from you our system will automatically delete your account.

Data transfer outside the EEA
The personal information you supply to us is stored on our database based with the EEA, and all the service providers we use have confirmed they are GDPR compliant. However if you have applied for a job or have allowed your CV profile to be accessed by third party recruiters, your data is out of our control and maybe transferred outside the EEA where there may be a lower legal level of data protection. However we only allow access to our recruiter services for known and reputable employers.
Google analytics
We use Google Analytics to report anonymous visitor activity on N2 Talent. Data collected is used by us for our own reporting and development. All data associated with cookies, user identifiers or advertising identifiers are retained for 14 months. Like most websites, we use Cookies - an automatic data collection technology which can be used to provide you with personalised content from a website.

Personalisation cookies

Analytics cookies
These cookies provide us with information on how you use and interact with our website, and help us to build up an anonymous profile so we can monitor and improve our services. One of the ways we collect this data is by using a UTM code that can appear in a website URL address. This is usually when you click to us from an email we have sent to you or if you’ve clicked to our website from one of our partner sites.
The time period we set our cookies to be stored depends on it’s purpose. When you sign in, we store a session cookie for 4 hours or until you close your browser. When you save/shortlist a job we store a cookie for up to 28 days unless you delete them.
Managing your Cookie preferences
Most internet browsers are pre-set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to accept it. You can also tell your browser to refuse all cookies, although doing so will affect your experience on many websites.
Security
N2 Talent is committed to protecting and securing the personal data you share with us from unauthorised access based on the following security measures:
- Website SSL protection (https) which encrypts the data transferred between your browser and our server.
- We store your passwords in a highly encrypted format, which cannot be disclosed to you, us or third parties.
- Our server hosts are based in the EEA, and are able to demonstrate that they uphold the key principles of GDPR assuring security and quality management processes are in place.
How do I access, amend and delete my personal data?
We give you the tools within your online account to amend, export to excel or delete all of your data we hold on our database. We have no control over any data you have allowed to be accessed by a third party recruiter using our site.
